The derby at Tele2 Arena ended in jubilation for the home crowd, and considerably more gloomy faces at Djurgården.

The home team was allowed to take the lead already after just over six minutes, when Vilde Hasund was able to easily slide the ball in next to Hedvig Lindahl, who left too much space on her left side in the goal.

Several skillful saves and a Djurgården that came more and more into the match in the first half would be no consolation.

Madelen Janogy would extend Hammarby's lead to 3–0 with two goals shortly after the break, and the three-goal deficit was something Djurgården could not overcome.

- It's incredibly nice to score when you play in that position and that's what I'm going to do, so it feels good, says Janogy in Kanal 6.

- You don't have time to think in those situations, you just have to put it there, she continues.

With three new points, Hammarby climbs up to fifth place in the table, while Djurgården remains in ninth place.

It was thus Lindahl's second loss in the Djurgården shirt, as the debut against Linköping ended with a 1–2 loss.
