Yesterday, the curtain came down on the activities of this historic edition of the tournament, which witnessed the first participation of the UAE national team in this tournament.

Al-Hashemi stressed that the support of the wise leadership is the cornerstone of achieving any achievement, and that the people of the UAE innovate when they get the opportunity and support, which was achieved again in this tournament, whether through the wonderful organization or good results and public and media attention.

The UAE champions concluded the activities of the tournament, which was held over four days at the Jujitsu Arena in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi, at the forefront of the Arab teams that participated in this historical version of the tournament. The team also ranked ninth with South Africa in the overall ranking of the tournament. Among the teams of 42 countries that participated in this edition.

The Ukrainian team won first place in the tournament, followed by the United States and Tajikistan in second and third places.

In its first historic participation, the UAE team won four medals through Jassem Al Hosani with gold in the 67 kg weight, Abdullah Al Darmaki with silver in the 40 kg weight, Zayed Al Hammadi with bronze in the under 48 kg weight, and Zayed Al Dhabari with bronze in the under 37 kg weight.
