Sweden had had a hard time with the offense during the JVM, and was 0-0 in the semi-final against Finland.

In the bronze match, Fabian Lysell succeeded in breaking the pattern.

On a puck that was cleared from the defense zone, he stuck quickly, and despite being a few meters behind the defender, was able to finally get past and win the puck.

Then he tricked the goalie, went around the box and put the puck in the kitchen path.

A delicious goal that was much needed for the Junior crowns, who had previously hit the frame twice in the first period.

During the period break, something happened to the Czech Republic.

The team came out much better in the second period and dominated the game.

And in the end, not even a great playing Jesper Wallstedt could resist.

In the power play, Wallstedt saved a shot from Blue, which bounced out and hit Michal Gut's leg and into the goal.

However, the junior crowns would respond soon after.

Isak Rosén intercepted the puck after an offensive draw, and finished directly from the slot.

It was only Sweden's second shot in the period after 15 minutes of play.

In the third period, the Czech Republic dominated the game.

But had difficulty finishing on goal.

The time when Sweden's defense played incredibly tight and covered a lot of shots, and Wallstedt took care of the shots that went through.

Sweden eventually won 3-1 with Linus Sjödin determining the final result.

And according to SVT Sports expert Jonas Andersson, it would have looked different if Wallstedt had not been a giant in the coffers.

- Change the goalkeeper with the Czech Republic and we would have had a different result.

That's how good Wallstedt is, says Jonas Andersson.
