Historic Kane goal gives Tottenham temporary lead in the Premier League

Tottenham temporarily topped the English Premier League in football, with an unconvincing victory today against its guest Wolverhampton 1-0 in the third stage, with a historic goal by international striker Harry Kane.

And Tottenham raised its score to 7 points from 3 matches, while Wolves’ balance froze at an orphan point and remained without any victory in ten matches (3 draws and 7 losses).

Caen set a record in the Premier League (the new system was launched in 1993), when he became the most scored with one team, raising his score to 185 goals, surpassing former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero (184).

It was also the 250th goal for Caen in various competitions, standing 16 goals behind the late Jimmy Greaves, the best scorer in the history of the North London team.

The twenty-nine-year-old scored the game's only goal in the 64th minute, from a close header after a corner kick by Croatian Ivan Perisic.

Kane scored his first goal this season, last week in a deadly time during a fierce match against Chelsea (2-2).
