It was a dramatic end to the women's cross-country final in Munich.

Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk had the bronze heading into the final round, but just before she was to make her final jump, she was passed by Britain's Jazmin Sawyers.

Then she was under pressure to jump higher than Sawyer's 6.80.

She got a good jump, but then the message came that it was overstepped.

Then it broke for Bekh-Romanchuk who screamed and gesticulated wildly.

- It is difficult to say what went wrong.

Something failed, that's all.

I gave everything, but something was missing, says the Ukrainian to sportas.lt.

Tonight, Bekh-Romanchuk has a new medal chance as she will jump the final in three steps.

It is broadcast on SVT starting at 20.55.

Khaddi Sagnia finished sixth in the long final with a jump that measured 6.61 meters.
