Javelin thrower Jakob Samuelsson will have to wait for word on whether there will be a final or not in the athletics EC in Munich.

Sweden has filed a protest for Samuelsson's second throw.

The protest is about Samuelsson's second throw, which he himself believes may have been approved - and perhaps even far enough.

Whether the protest will be approved is currently unclear.

In the first throw, the Swede overstepped.

Then he got a good throw, which was ruled out for overstepping.

Samuelsson's best throw measured 70.39, for the final 77.20 was required.

- It's hard for me to say.

I've had a few similar throws before and I'm looking from above and I think it might have been approved.

But I don't know if I should be completely honest, but we can only hope, he says in SVT.
