Falck/Karlsson won 3-1 (10-12,11-8,11-8,11-9) in a tight match where they won the important points.

- It was extra locked because both know how the other wants the balls, but we coped well, especially at the end of the set where we raised our level, says Kristian Karlsson about the tight semi where Källberg/Persson had leads in the second, third and fourth set.

At a 5-6 deficit in the second set, Falck/Karlsson took a timeout.

- If it had been a seven-seater, they wouldn't have taken a timeout already, says expert Mikael Appelgren.

As it was an all-Swedish meeting, there were no coaches among the players, but they had to arrange the tactics themselves.

In the final awaits the Austrian couple Daniel Habesohn and Robert Gardos, who defeated Falck/Karlsson in two EC finals in 2012 and 2018. The final will be played tonight 18.10 and will be shown on SVT2 and Play.

"May be liked the third time"

- It may be the third time like it.

We've been aiming for gold the whole time and now we're going to fix that too, says Karlsson.

Falck/Karlsson have two EC silver and two EC bronze in doubles.

- We lost against a good couple, but for my own part, I think I miss far too much.

It was sad, we had some leads as well, but we do a really good tournament and go to the semis and lose to the world champions, says Jon Persson after the loss to his teammates.

The pair haven't trained together for a long time.

- You have to be humble about that.

It was my first medal in an international championship and I will always remember that, says Anton Källberg.
