The young duo Emilia Nilsson Garip and Elias Petersen, both 19 years old, delivered as expected and that was enough for fourth place.
Italians Chiara Pellacani and Matteo Santoro were better by a vanishingly small margin.
The victory went to the German duo Lou Massenberg and Tina Punzel, while the silver was taken by the British James Heatley and Grace Reid.
