Jubilo Iwata, the bottom team in soccer J1, has announced that Hiroki Shibuya will be appointed as the new head coach in place of Akira Ito, who has been dismissed.

Jubilo is in the bottom of the 25 league matches with 5 wins, 13 losses and 7 draws, including a 0-6 defeat against Urawa Red Diamonds on the 13th of this month. Head coach Shibuya has announced that he will be appointed as the new manager.



Mr. Shibuya is 55 years old from Hokkaido.



After playing for the predecessor team of Omiya Ardija, he has been the manager of Ardija's junior team and top team.



For the two years until last season, I supported Manager Ito as a coach at Ventforet Kofu, and from this season I moved to Jubilo with Manager Ito and served as head coach.



Mr. Shibuya will temporarily take over the team in place of Manager Ito during the practice on the 16th, and will hold a press conference on the 18th with President Masaru Ono.
