The judo team crowns gold and raises the UAE’s balance to 10 medals in the Islamic Solidarity Tournament

Today, the judo team raised the UAE's tally to 10 colored medals at the Fifth Islamic Solidarity Games, hosted by Konya, Turkey, until January 18.

Magomdomar Magomdomorov won gold in the over 100 kg weight, after defeating Uzbek Alisher Yusupov in the final, while Nozari Tatalashgili won silver in the 81 kg weight, after losing to Turkey's Vedat Albayrak, who won the gold medal, and Aram Grigoryan won the bronze medal after defeating the Turkish player. Omar Kamal weighs 90 kg.

The UAE's balance rose to 10 colored medals, 3 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze, which came through 3 sports: bicycles, judo and bow arrow for people of determination.

The UAE ranked 15th in the general ranking table, and Turkey topped the general ranking table with 239 medals, 93 gold, 81 silver and 65 bronze.
