On September 24, the Swedish men's national team will meet Serbia in the Nations League football in Belgrade. European football's governing body, Uefa, has decided that the match will be played in front of empty stands due to racist behavior by Serbian supporters during previous Nations League matches. This means that it will not be possible for Swedish supporters to be in the stands.
In total, Serbia is punished with two competitive matches without an audience and is fined 42,000 euros, equivalent to roughly 440,000 Swedish kronor.
In addition, goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic is suspended for two competitive matches for verbally abusing a match official.
