Chelsea fans launched a campaign - through social media - against referee Anthony Taylor, who officiated the team's match against Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League (Premier League) on Sunday.

The match witnessed exciting events until its last minutes, after a fatal draw for Tottenham in added time, and the coaches of the two teams, Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel, were expelled, after a clash and a sharp argument between them, after referee Anthony Taylor blew the whistle at the end of the match with a positive draw between the two teams 2-2.

Who is at fault?

Taylor was the most famous yellow card in the face of the coaches after a previous argument in the same match, when Tottenham scored the first equalizer, and Conte went to celebrate in front of the Chelsea bench to clash with Tuchel at the time, and then they clashed again after the end of the meeting, so that the English referee declared the red card to each who are they.

Immediately after the meeting between the two teams, Chelsea fans launched the hashtag “AnthonyTaylorOut” on Twitter, and a large number of “Blues” fans interacted with him to demand that referee Taylor be banned from refereeing the official matches of the London team from now on.

Fans criticized the referee's decisions, and saw that the Tottenham goals were preceded by two errors that should not have been counted.

Chelsea fans submitted a new online petition demanding that Anthony Taylor be banned from refereeing their team's upcoming matches, and the petition garnered more than 90,000 signatures in less than 24 hours after its launch.

Tweeters participated through the circulating hashtag, asking the rest of Chelsea fans to sign the petition to prevent Taylor from managing the team's matches.

Some tweeters accused the English arbitration of corruption;

Because of the many controversial shots that Taylor caused in the Chelsea matches he is managing in the Premier League.

One angry fan said that Taylor was "a disgrace to refereeing", while another called for the English Premier League to prevent the appointment of a referee for Chelsea matches, describing what is happening as "corruption at its best".

Anthony Taylor is a disgrace to refereeing and the day he'll officiate a Chelsea match without controversy will be the day he'll start growing hair on his bald head.

How on earth is Anthony Taylor officiating a game as 4th ref for #BREMUN on Saturday & again appointed as Center referee for #CHETOT on Sunday?

Same as Mike Dean on VAR duties on Saturday & Sunday.

Are there not enough better officials available?#AnthonyTaylorOut Romero Best RB
