Rolf-Göran Bengtsson is at the WC as the fifth rider in the Swedish show jumping team.

There have been no appearances for Bengtsson during this year's WC - but despite that, his importance to the other riders in the team should not be underestimated.

- As I said, he is our fifth team member, but he still has an incredible importance for our results, I think many people underestimate that, says von Eckermann, who would not have it any other way:

- Sometimes there has been a discussion: why don't you bring in someone who is on the way up?

Because Rolf is a bit older, but it doesn't work that way.

The person who is the fifth rider in the team can help a lot, but it can also topple.

He knows us inside and out, when you ask him about something, you know you will get an answer that has a lot of thought and experience behind it, so that is exactly why he is incredibly important.

Jens Fredricson, who is second behind von Eckermann before today's final, is on the same line.

- Roffe is part of the team, he is not a fifth rider.

When we walk the course, I usually walk it three times myself first, then I go along with him and get his views.

After that, I go one more time and make a final decision after receiving Roffe's opinions.

The form of the two Swedish final teams is good.

- The horse looks very fresh, as it has all along, it doesn't look like it has jumped anything, I'm looking forward to the final, says von Eckermann.

- The horse feels absolutely great, says Fredricson.
