The Norwegian profile's dramatic upload – drove on rocks on the hill

At 07.30 on Saturday, Cykelvasan starts - which is broadcast live on SVT1 and SVT Play.

One of the favorites is Norwegian Hildegunn Gjertrud Hovdenak.

She won the competition in 2014 and 2018 and came second last year behind Swedish winner Jennie Stenerhag.

Tomorrow she gets a chance for revenge.

But her last training before the competition ended badly.

- I rode on a fairly easy downhill and was going to test the bike, but had the misfortune of riding on a rock, says Hovdenak.

"Rested on the couch"

She crashed and hit her face, but escaped without serious injuries.

- I had to spend the afternoon resting on the sofa.

I feel okay and hope and believe that it won't affect me tomorrow, she says.
