Real Madrid opened its season perfectly and crowned the European Super Cup after beating Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 on Wednesday

At the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki, Finland, the Royal Club controlled the match and controlled most of its periods, while Frankfurt Club could not take advantage of the few opportunities that were available to it.

Austrian defender David Alaba opened the scoring for Real Madrid in the 37th minute when he found himself in front of an empty goal after a header from his Brazilian teammate Casemiro.

If solutions are absent, there is Alaba 🔥

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Corto prevented the German club's attempts, and kept a clean sheet in the match that awarded Real Madrid the Super Cup title for the fifth time in its eighth final in this competition.

Real Madrid participated in the Super match as the Champions League champion for the past season, after defeating Liverpool with a clean goal in the final, while Frankfurt participated, as the European League champion, crowned the title after beating Glasgow Rangers 5-4 on penalties after the end of the season. The original and extra time for the final match tied 1-1.

This was the first official match in which the two teams met since the final match of the Champions League (Champions League) that was held in 1960, which saw Real win the championship title for the fifth time by taking over, after defeating Eintracht Frankfurt 7-3.

Today's coronation came in a perfect opening for Real Madrid's season, which is looking to compete for all titles after winning last season's Spanish League and Champions League titles.

Real Madrid begins its campaign in the Spanish League against the young Almeria next Sunday.
