Shortly after Frida Karlsson and Maja Dahlqvist left the Swedish cross-country team, TT wrote that they could train with the German national team.

- They (Frida Karlsson and Maja Dahlqvist) are welcome to come down and train with the Germans if they want, said Mia Karlsson, Frida's mother and manager.

It was all relevant when Per Nilsson, Frida Karlsson's personal trainer, became coach of the German women's national team at the beginning of May.

Now Karlsson will also train a few sessions with the German national team in Torsby next week.

Also in Torsby is the German duo Katharina Hennig and Victoria Carl, who won Olympic gold in the sprint relay last winter.

- Frida's situation is exciting in many ways.

She has a very high capacity, so Frida will probably drive harder in training than she actually gets, but Hennig and Carl have other strengths and they can perhaps learn a little from each other, says Per Nilsson to VG.

Karlsson will be in Torsby between August 14 and 21.

Several of the days she will be there at the same time as the Swedish cross-country team.

But in the Swedish camp, they say they are not particularly affected by it.

- There will be big things around it, but for us there is no drama.

It's not that special, says Anders Byström.
