The resignation of Sergei Yuran from the post of head coach of Khimki remains the main topic of the week in Russian football.

The Moscow Region club officially announced the termination of cooperation with the specialist and confirmed the appointment of Nikolai Pisarev to a vacant position, but the media are still wondering about the reasons for the strange decision of the red-black leadership, who started a personnel reshuffle after the most successful start in the history of the club in the RPL.

But if the day before, most of the talk was about the conflict with the investor Tufan Sadigov, today it is about a fixed match, which the specialist himself allegedly tried to organize.

According to journalist Ivan Karpov, at the end of last season, Yuran allegedly personally contacted Rostov and asked him to lose to Khimki in the 29th round of the Premier League.

At that time, the club was in 12th place, and the victory, coupled with the misfires of Rubin and Ural, guaranteed the preservation of residence in the top division (the red-blacks would have come off by five points from Yekaterinburg and bypassed Kazan in personal meetings).

However, the wards of Valery Karpin prevailed with a score of 2: 1 and doomed the opponents to participate in transitional matches.

Even if we assume that Juran really turned to his opponents with such an offer, the reaction of the Khimki management seems a bit belated.

Almost three months have passed since the confrontation with Rostov, during which the Moscow region players managed not only to defend the right to play in the Premier League, but also to score seven points in the new season.

And this is not counting the fact that the likely negotiations with the team of Valery Karpin did not bring results.

Perhaps the club was afraid of the consequences that could follow if the story with the agreement was revealed in the future.

Then the dismissal of Juran takes on some meaning.

However, this theory was not confirmed, as expected.

Roman Teryushkov, a member of the Khimki supervisory board, was the first to refute it, calling this hypothesis a "fable".

“This, of course, is nonsense.

Rostov also refused Yuran's offer?

They graciously refused.

How can a head coach agree on something?

Knowing Yuran, he himself would turn his head off to someone who would try to agree on something with an opponent, ”Teryushkov told the Championship.

Subsequently, the coaches made similar statements.

Karpin called the rumors "nonsense" and assured that he had not received offers to surrender the game.

Juran spoke in a similar manner, breaking the silence for this.

“I don’t comment on nonsense,” the mentor said in a conversation with RT.

And the fact that Juran had nothing to do with a possible agreement is readily believed, given the nature of the coach.

Throughout his career, he was known for his unyielding character and intransigence, as well as his desire to bring out the strongest on the football field.

In particular, Valery Kechinov, who played two seasons with him, expressed such an opinion about his former Spartak partner.

“Is Juran capable of agreeing to hold a fixed match?

Never.

I'm sure he had no such thoughts.

At least when I was a football player.

In 1995, three rounds before the end of the championship, we had to play in Vladikavkaz with Alania, which then went to victory in the tournament.

We were approached with a proposal to pass this meeting.

Naturally, through experienced players - Yuran, Stanislav Cherchesov.

It didn't matter much to us, we didn't solve tournament problems any more.

But the veterans said, “No way.

We will do everything so that you do not become champions tomorrow.”

And so it happened: they went onto the field, cut themselves.

I don't think that Juran's position could change over the years.

Therefore, I don’t believe that he could try to arrange a fixed match with Rostov himself,” Kechinov said.

The same position is held by former Khimki coach Alexander Tarkhanov.

According to him, neither Juran nor Karpin would agree to violate the principles of fair play.

“How can you negotiate with Rostov?

Karpin is there.

She and Yuran are Spartacists.

They would never have gone for this, ”Tarkhanov expressed his opinion.

This version was also dismissed by the former midfielder of the Spanish Celta Alexander Mostovoy, who also intersected with Yuran in Spartak.

“There was a version of Yuran's dismissal because he did not let the son of someone from the club's management on the field, after that there was another, after another one.

We will find out the main reason only if he himself answers the question about the reasons for his dismissal.

But I don’t believe that Sergey was trying to organize a fixed match with Rostov, ”said the famous football player.

However, most experts still consider the resignation ambiguous and express confidence that it was not carried out on a sporting basis.

The same Tarkhanov recalled the difficult nature of Yuran and called disagreements with the leadership a possible reason for the termination of cooperation between the parties.

“I think there was an internal conflict.

I don’t believe that the decision not to release the investor’s son (Ilya Sadigova. -

) could lead to this.

As they say in the supervisory board, the coach was given the task of maintaining a residence permit in the RPL and preparing the team for the next season.

But that doesn't seem true to me either.

As well as the story with the match-fixing with Rostov.

Yuran is an unyielding person," Tarkhanov added.

The 67-year-old specialist himself served as the head coach of Khimki three times between 2010 and 2013, but none of his departures ended in scandal.

On the contrary, in both cases, Tarkhanov was promoted - first to the Wings of the Soviets, and then to the Urals, which then acted a division higher.

“There have never been any problems with the management of the club.

But then there were other people.

There was a good mayor of the city who helped the team, ”Tarkhanov recalled.

I am confident in the sports cleanliness of Juran and the veteran of the red and white Anzor Kavazashvili.

According to him, this specialist is a professional to the core, who prefers to prove his position on the field.

“If this journalist has no facts, then he can risk his profession.

RFU is obliged to sort out this issue.

We have a match-fixing committee, which I headed, and there will already be a check at the most serious level.

After it, the people involved in these rumors will be called, and they will conduct an official conversation.

Records will be drawn up confirming what was said by this person.

All materials will go to our ethics committee, and then there will be a full investigation,” Kavazashvili explained.

But if we assume that the suspicions against Yuran were not unfounded, then in the future serious sanctions may await him.

According to sports lawyer Anna Anceliovich, in case of proof of guilt, the mentor can be suspended from football for a long time.

“What can threaten Yuran?

A fine of up to 5 million rubles, a ban on engaging in activities in the field of football for a period of at least one year up to life.

Yes, there was no fixed match, but it could have been an attempt.

For a criminal case, the standard of proof and intent is higher than for disciplinary bodies.

Here you need to understand what the evidence base will be.

On the other hand, if law enforcement agencies are involved, then they have much more tools for investigation than the RFU,” said Antseliovich.
