is prepared to leave tennis in the coming weeks

She further suggested that she will be after the US Open.
The tennis player, who is competing these days in the Toronto tournament, explained that
she does not like to use the word retired and that she has been thinking about this "transition"
that she prefers to describe as "evolution".
"I am here to say that
I am evolving from tennis to other things that are more important to me
," wrote the 40-year-old tennis player, who among the reasons she gives highlights her desire to become a mother again.
