Last year, Anthony van den Hurk promoted Helsingborg to the Allsvenskan.

But since the coaching duo Mattias Lindström and Alvaro Santos took over the responsibility, the striker has lost the captain's armband.

After Sunday's training, he was informed that he would not start against Häcken in the last match.

- After training yesterday, he came to us and said he didn't feel motivated.

He simply does not want to remain at the club, says Alvaro Santos to Helsingborgs Dagblad.

"Anthony Repents"

Now van der Hurk's agent Matthew Rusike claims his mentee is remorseful.

- Anthony regrets it, he apologizes.

He has a contract with the club and he must respect that.

He is aware that this was not the right time for such a situation.

It was not a good situation and he is sorry for that, says Rusike to Expressen, but clarifies that van der Hurk is thinking about the future:

- He loves the club.

Then football is business and he looks at other opportunities.

He has less than six months left on his contract so it's no wonder he's thinking about his future.
