The first Swedish team of the day, Therese Nilshagen and Dalte Weltino OLD, had a good start and managed to take the lead, but some costly mistakes would mean that the team's percentage, 74.484, was not enough for the podium.
A few riders later, however, it was clear that she would advance to Wednesday's selection final, where the best 15 from Monday qualified.
- The feeling was still better today, says Nilshagen to SVT.
Next out was Juliette Ramel, who scored 75.456% with Buriel KH and she also secured the ticket to the choir when she could enter as second with her result.
Patrik Kittel and Touchdown then followed this up with a slightly sharper 75.468% and with that result became the best Swedish team, then in third place but soon enough all Swedes were put down in the results list.
- It was a nasty miss when we were going to gallop, says Kittel to SVT after his ride.
He then continues:
- I'm still very pleased.
German Benjamin Werndl with Famoso OLD leads with 78.237%, while British Gareth Hughes and Classic Briolinca are second with their 77.280%.
The competition is ongoing.
