Frenchman Johann Zarco (Ducati-Pramac), 3rd in the MotoGP world championship, will start the British Grand Prix after signing pole position and a new Silverstone circuit record on Saturday.

He will be accompanied on the front row on Sunday by Spaniard Maverick Vinales (Aprilia) and Australian Jack Miller (Ducati).

The other Frenchman Fabio Quartararo, leader of the championship, will start 4th.

See you on Sunday

This is the second time this season that Zarco has set the fastest qualifying time.

The 8th pole position in the queen category for the 32-year-old from Cannes.

This one, he took it with style: in 1 min 57 sec and 767/1000 he pulverized the old circuit record held by Marc Marquez (1:58.168) - the Spaniard still recovering after his new arm operation.

In the second row with Quartararo, we will find the Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), 4th in the world championship, and the Spaniard Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia), 2nd in the championship at 21 points from the French.
