Liverpool stumbled in their first match in the English Premier League this season, and were satisfied with a 2-2 draw against its host Fulham, in a match that witnessed a new record for Egyptian star Mohamed Salah.

Fulham advanced with a goal scored by Aleksandar Mitrovic in the 33rd minute, and Liverpool equalized through Daron Nunez in the 64th minute after a decisive pass from Salah.

Mitrovic returned to give Fulham the lead by scoring the second goal in the 72nd minute from a penalty kick, before Mohamed Salah equalized for Liverpool in the 80th minute.

This is the sixth consecutive time that Salah scored a goal in the opening match of Liverpool in the English Premier League, in an unprecedented achievement in the history of the competition.

Each team scored its first point in the league this season, and Liverpool finished last season in second place, a point behind title holder Manchester City, while Fulham is experiencing a new experience in the Premier League after its rise last season.
