Julia Borgström has undeniably received more attention after this summer's Tour de France, where she finished third in the youth class.

Now she talks about her struggle with eating disorders and a culture within cycling that affected her negatively.

But that she also got control over the problems.

- Diet-wise, I've probably had my problems in the other direction, that I ate way too little for many years.

I guess I'm just now starting to take control of it.

Now I eat enough and have a better relationship with food and nutrition.

Can you develop it?

- No, but cycling is tough.

That's a lot of "watts per kilo", and it's noticeable.

And old culture has quite a large influence on bicycles and cyclists and I have been influenced by that for a very long time.

But I've been very lucky with coaches and family around me, says Borgström.

Feels no pressure

The changes have had a positive effect on her.

Now she is looking forward to a competition at home.

- I am incredibly busy.

I have never driven Vårgårda before and it will be really cool to compete at this level on home ground.

It will be great fun.

Do you feel any pressure?

- No.

I feel like I have a lot of eyes on me and it's a bit new.

But I will enjoy the competition as much as I do the others and just enjoy being at home.

SVT broadcasts the weekend's competitions from Vårgårda.
