The UAE Professional League revealed the list of candidates for the best awards for the 2021-2022 sports season, in conjunction with the announcement of the opening of voting today, and it will continue until the 10th of this month.
Voting will be available through the official website, applications via smartphones, and the association's accounts on social media platforms.
It is noteworthy that last season’s awards ceremony, which will be held on the 27th of this month at the Emirates Palace, will honor the best in 15 categories, and the awards are divided into three main categories, namely: awards based on statistics, awards according to voting, and an award according to criteria, and the list of awards that determines the winners By voting for: the Golden Ball for the best Emirati player, the Golden Ball for the best foreign player, the leader for the best coach, the Golden Boy for the best promising Emirati player, the Golden Boy for the best promising player from a resident or born in the country, the Golden Glove for the best goalkeeper, the best player from Fan Choice, the most beautiful goal of crowd choice, and the best digital sports platform.
The statistics-based awards include: ADNOC Pro League Top Scorer Golden Boot, Under-21 League Top Scorer Silver Boot, Highest Audience Award, ADNOC Fantasy League Manager Award, and Dream Team.
As for the award according to the criteria, it is the award for excellence in professionalism and licensing, for the club that meets the criteria specified in the club licensing system, in addition to the criteria for quality control, administrative penalties, cooperation and general arrangement in all competitions except for the super match.
