Bayern Munich, the defending champion, opened the German Football League (Bundesliga) with a big victory over its host Eintracht Frankfurt 6-1 on Friday, in the first match of Senegalese star Sadio Mane with the Bavarian club.

Bayern Munich advanced with a goal scored by Joshua Kimmich in the fifth minute, and Benjamin Pavard added the second goal in the 11th minute, then newcomer Sadio Mane scored the third goal in the 29th minute.

Jamal Musiyala scored Bayern Munich's fourth goal in the 35th minute, and Serge Gnabry added the fifth goal in the 43rd minute, ending the first half with Bayern leading by five clean.

In the second half, Frankfurt scored a face-saving goal in the 64th minute by Randall Kolo Mwani after a fatal mistake by German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
