Tennis player Naomi Osaka returned to the competition for the first time in about two months.

Osaka lost in the second round of the women's singles at a tour tournament in Spain in May, and after revealing that she had pain in her left Achilles tendon, she was eliminated in the first round of the French Open.

She missed the Wimbledon Championships in June because she had a bad leg.

Osaka, ranked 41st in the world, returned to competition at the tour tournament held in California, USA. 18 years old, played against Cori Gauff.

In the first set, both sides held their serve games, and although Osaka showed a powerful shot, Gauff tenaciously picked it up and allowed a break in the fifth game, resulting in a 4-6 loss.

In the 2nd set, they lost 5 games from the 2nd game at once, pushed by deep strokes and various shots, and there was no trace left.

Even so, Osaka overcame the opponent's match point in the 7th game with a powerful serve, and then broke in the 8th game for the first time in this match to excite the crowd.

However, they were one step behind, losing this set 4-6 and losing in straight sets with a set count of 0-2, and did not advance to the quarterfinals.
