In a post on Instagram, with a picture of himself in a swimming pool, Johannes Hösflot Kläbo talks in detail about his injury situation that arose during the pre-season.

"I will spend a lot of time in the coming weeks running in water due to an injury to the upper part of the back of my thigh," writes Kläbo.

He discovered the injury four weeks ago when he woke up with pain in his leg.

After x-rays, the damage could be located.

“It looks like it will be a while before I'm back to normal training.

My physical therapist has given me an exercise schedule to heal the injury as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, it's just about trying to stay positive."

Johannes Hösflot Kläbo says that he can train on roller skis, but not with the same intensity as he had originally thought.

"It will be a challenging period ahead, but I am holding my head high and looking forward to when it is over.

Fortunately, there are still a couple of months until the start of the season".
