The “internal radio announcer” of Al-Ahly Youth Club, Maryam Youssef, revealed her aspirations in the near future to join one of the sports channels and carry out the task of sports commentator, to be the first Emirati woman to comment on football matches in the league on television, while giving thanks and appreciation to Al-Ahly Youth Club, describing it as He contributed to building her athletic character in all aspects, and she owes him great credit.

Maryam Youssef told "Emirates Today" that her future wish is to work as a broadcaster in the World Cup if it were organized in the future in the Emirates, and described the secret of her entry into this field with her love for football since childhood, and her follow-up with her family for matches and that she loves Barcelona and prefers to follow the German team always.

She added, "I am looking forward to entering the world of television commentary on sports matches and investing the good amount of information in my possession, and also to be the first Emirati to enter this field.

She added: “Since I was young, I have been in love with Shabab Al-Ahly Club, not only because it is a club that succeeded in achieving the most expensive championships, but because it is a large entity and has global and Emirati weight and has its distinguished fans and players who have provided great levels in many sports seasons, and he kept with him many beautiful memories, most notably His qualification for the AFC Champions League final in 2015, and a lot of beautiful memories, and at the same time I always try to forget or forget his loss to the final of that tournament in the same season.”

She confirmed that the club gave her all the support to work in the sports media in general and comment in particular.

She continued, "I am currently studying in the field of radio and television, and I look forward to benefiting from my studies so as to combine it with my current sports experience to build a personality capable of giving permanently. I have already succeeded in integrating the hobby with the study to develop this aspect."

She added: "Al-Ahly's youth is a childhood dream and has a great credit for me, and I hope to return this credit to him, and my advice to young men and women is to strive to achieve their dreams by persevering in reading for its role in developing culture and developing the elements of success in all fields."
