7 medals for the table tennis team in "West Asia"

The national table tennis team added two silver medals on the final day of the West Asian Table Tennis Championship, which was hosted by the Jordanian Table Tennis Federation in Prince Hamzah Hall, with the participation of 12 countries, bringing the team’s final score to 7 medals.

Abdullah Al-Hawai and Mansour Abdullah won the West Asian silver for the junior pair. Ali Al-Hawai also won another silver for the UAE in the junior singles after losing in the final, bringing the team’s tally to 4 silver and three bronze medals.

Youssef Al-Hawai won the silver medal in the individual under 11 years, in addition to obtaining the silver for the teams in the same age group. The under-15 and 11-year-old teams each won the bronze medal, and the doubles consisting of Mohammed Saeed and Rashid Saeed won the bronze under 11 years.

On the other hand, the men's national team player, Abdullah Al Balushi, qualified for the Asian finals in Thailand next September.
