The International Federation chooses an Egyptian woman among the World Cup referees

The International Football Association Board (FIFA) has chosen international assistant referee, Yara Atef, as one of the participating referees for the FIFA U-17 World Cup matches.

And the media center of the Egyptian Football Association announced that it had received a notification from FIFA about this matter.

The federation's media center stated, "The selection of the Egyptian Yara Atef to be in the Women's World Cup is a continuation of her distinguished career, as she has appeared in more than one major international competition recently, most notably the last African Nations Cup in Morocco and the qualifiers for the Women's World Cup 2023."

India will host the U-17 Women's World Cup from October 11-30, with 16 teams participating, including three African teams, Nigeria, Morocco and Tanzania.
