In front of their home crowd, the English won in extra time against Germany in the final of the Women's Euro 2022. They won the competition for the first time in their history thanks to a goal from Lauren Hemp in the 110th minute. 

At Wembley, the Lionesses triumphed.

In front of more than 87,000 spectators, England beat Germany in the final of the Women's Euro (2-1 AP) and won the competition for the first time in its history.

The English first opened the scoring through Ella Toone before Lina Magull tied the two teams 10 minutes from time. 

In extra time, Chloe Kelly pulled away in the box to score the winning goal in the 110th minute with her right foot.
