National player Jamal Musiala scored the lead in the 14th minute, which newcomers Sadio Mané (31st) and Benjamin Pavard (45th) extended to 3-0 before the break.

Serge Gnabry scored Bayern's goal to make it 4-1 (66th).

Marcel Halstenberg (59th) first shortened for Leipzig.

Christopher Nkunku (77') with a penalty kick and Dani Olmo (89') made it exciting before Leroy Sané (90' + 8') put the final point in stoppage time.
