Russo was responsible for the best goal of the match when she took advantage of her own return and then heeled the ball between Hedvig Lindahl's feet and into the goal.

After the big victory, 4-0, was a fact, she thought it was a tough match.

- It was a warrior match.

Sweden is a tough opposition and it was required that we were connected from the first minute.

Mary (Earps) made a good save right away which set the tone for the rest of the game which we were able to build on.

Then we were lucky enough to score four goals, says Alessia Russo.

You sat on the bench at the beginning of the match, how did you experience the Swedish start?

- Sweden was really good, which we knew with the players they have.

We also had a plan on how to exploit their weaknesses.

Then we could rely on our backline, which has been incredible throughout the championship.

In the end you were able to slide towards the final at Wembley.

- That was unbelievable.

I'm at a loss for words, but it was an amazing performance.

Now we have to get together for the weekend.

You celebrated with ABBA songs in the dressing room.

The perfect way to celebrate today?

- Yes, it's always great with ABBA, above all Tooney (Ella Toone) loves ABBA and all the songs that are in Mamma Mia.

It is a tradition after matches that we listen to ABBA.
