The karate team will go to Cairo tomorrow to participate in the Arab Championship

The delegation of the national karate team will leave tomorrow for the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to participate in the Arab Championship in its 13th session for men and women, which will be held on July 29 and 30, and nine Arab teams are competing for their titles.

The delegation is headed by the Assistant Secretary-General of the Karate Federation, Dr. Abdullah Al-Badi, and includes six male and female players: Marwan Al-Mazmi, Youssef Faraidooni, and Abdul-Ghani Muhammad. Under 67 kilograms, Hawra Al-Ajami and Fatima Salem Khaseef, in the women's weight competitions (-50 kilograms) and (-68 kilograms) in the women's individual Kumite.

The mission also includes international referee Jaber Al-Zaabi, and the coaching staff for the men's and women's teams, consisting of Waheed Hosseini, Nader Beji, Nasser Hosseini and Torgay Yasil.

Al-Badi said in a press statement: “The team has prepared for the Arab Championship, regularly in an internal camp, since the third of this month, after the fruitful participation of the country’s players, in each of the third Gulf Games in Kuwait last May, and the (Series A) championship in Egypt last month, which is listed within the International Federation of the game.
