It was a Hammarby that before today's event came into play with good form and two straight 3-0 victories in the bag.

And against Varberg came the next big win.

- We set our positions.

In the past we created a lot, but we missed.

That's the difference now, says 3-0 shooter Nahir Besara to discovery+ after the match.

The green and white broke the deadlock after 16 minutes of play.

Gustav Ludwigson ran into the penalty area - where he slotted the ball in to make it 1-0.

The goal was Hammarby's 2,000th all-svenskan goal of all time.

More came from Hammarby and Ludwigson.

Just four minutes later, after a play from Nahir Besara, he pulled away with a heavy shot that found its way into Varberg's goal.

"Said kindly"

At half-time, however, Ludwigson admitted that the first goal was possibly an own goal.

- Two-goal scorer was nice to say, we'll see if I get it - doubtful.

But it was a goal.

I'll gladly take it, he told discovery+ at halftime.

In the second half, Bajen expanded through Besara.

He skillfully feinted away a defender in the penalty area, and then coolly scored 3-0.

That was the end result.

Hammarby takes on Värnamo at home in the next match.

Varberg visits Sundsvall.

Today's victory means that Bajen hooks up in the top battle in the Allsvenskan.
