Rafael Nadal (3rd, Spain), who is called the 'Big 4' of men's tennis, Novak Djokovic (7th, Serbia), Andy Murray (50th, UK), and Roger Federer (No ranking, Switzerland) are the first team ever and participate in competitions.

The men's professional tennis (ATP) tour announced on the 23rd, "For the first time in the history of the Laver Cup, the 'Big 4' formed a team."

The Laver Cup, established in 2017, is a men's tennis competition between European and world teams.

This year's competition will be held in London, England for three days from September 23rd.

Nadal, Murray and Federer have already announced their intention to participate in this year's tournament, and Djokovic's participation has yet to be decided.

Team Europe and Team World each consist of six players, and it has not been decided who will fill the remaining two European seats.

Only Nadal and Federer appeared in the first competition in 2017 and 2019, and Federer and Djokovic appeared in 2018.

The 2020 competition was canceled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), and all the 'Big 4' in 2021 were absent.

There was also a rare scene where Federer-Nadal in 2017 and Federer-Djokovic in 2018 were in doubles.

Biern Borg (Sweden) will lead the European team this year, and John McKenroe (USA) will lead the world team.

In the world team, Felix Ozealiasim (9th, Canada), Taylor Fritz (13th, USA), and Diego Schwartzmann (14th, Argentina) have been confirmed.
