Two players, Glas and Kullberg, have tested positive for covid-19 at the same time as midfielder Hanna Bennison, defender Jonna Andersson and goalkeeper Jennifer Falk have symptoms of illness and were missing in training.

Add to that the team captain and midfielder Caroline Seger also does not train due to injury and the Swedish national team is really sprained before the European Championship quarter-final against Belgium in two days.

SVT's expert Markus Johannesson, however, sees no major problems in replacing Hanna Glas in the right-back position, despite the fact that a possible replacement in Emma Kullberg is also ill.

- We have good alternatives in Amanda Ilestedt and Elin Rubensson.

But if it turns out that the infection has spread, the situation is different, he says.

- Then it's really worrying.

Who knows where it stops then?

If the five players in question were to disappear, it is worrying that alternatives to the starting eleven will disappear.

In that case, it would be extremely important that Seger is healthy.

There are more options to change and make adjustments during the match that disappear than Sweden will not have a strong starting eleven on Friday.

Sweden enters the quarter-finals against Belgium as clear favorites, but if several players drop out, it will still be noticeable.

- What is positive in this is still that it is not a possible semifinal against England and Spain.

Then everyone needs to be healthy and fit and 100 percent.

I say this without underestimating Belgium.
