Disclosure of the total value of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Award for Women's Sports

The Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy for Women's Sports revealed the value and total prizes for the Fatima Bint Mubarak Award for Women's Sports, which announced the opening of nominations to participate in the sixth session, which will continue to receive applications until the eighth of next August.


The award is the first of its kind in the region and the Arab world, which aspires to highlight the achievements and successes of women in their sports career and to appreciate their role inspiring generations and motivating them towards excellence and progress in all continental and international sports forums.


The Academy said in a press statement today, Tuesday, that the award comes within the framework of the Academy's permanent efforts to support the status of Emirati and Arab women, and to contribute to creating an annual competitive initiative to attract sports talents at the local and Arab levels and to work to value their bids in the arenas and fields of sports competition.


The award receives the attention and follow-up of Sheikha Fatima bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Fatima bint Mubarak Academy for Women’s Sports, and President of the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Ladies Clubs, and her great keenness to add new categories for this year’s achievement, which includes the value of individual prizes for this year, which includes increasing the value of individual prizes. It is divided into six categories, ranging from 100,000 dirhams to 500,000 dirhams, which are: the category of the best Arab sportswoman (the prize of 500,000 dirhams), the category of the best Emirati athlete (the prize of 300,000 dirhams), the category of the best young athlete, whose prize is 100 thousand dirhams, the category Best Paralympic Athlete (prize 100,000 dirhams), best coach/coach category (prize 100,000 dirhams), best sports media player category (prize 100,000 dirhams).


أمـا بـالنسـبة لـلفئة الـثانـية الـتي تـكرم الاتـحادات والمـؤسـسات الـريـاضـية تـتراوح جـوائـزهـا بـين 100 ألـف و 300 ألــــف درهــــم، وهــــي فــــئة أفــــضل بــــرنــــامــــج لــــتنمية الــــناشــــئات جــــائــــزتــــها 100 ألــــف درهــــم، فــئة أفــضل فــريــق جــائــزتــها 300 ألــف درهــم، فــئة أفــضل مــبادرة إبــداعــية ريــاضــية تشمل البحوث التطويرية، التكنولوجيا و الابتكار Sports (the prize is 100,000 dirhams).


The award also includes an appreciative category for the sports personality of the year at the level of the Arab world.


The Academy called on all sports institutions and federations concerned with the initiative to register for the award and to nominate those who meet the conditions to qualify for the award, as well as the conditions for participation.
