“Farewell to Yartsev will take place on Tuesday, at 10:00, in the arena of the Spartak Academy.

Then at 12:00 there will be a funeral service in the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Sokolniki, ”the Spartak press service said.

Yartsev died on July 15.

In the course of his playing career, he played for Spartak from Kostroma, CSKA, Gomselmash, Moscow Spartak and Lokomotiv, as well as Moskvich.

Under his leadership, Spartak became the champion of Russia in 1996.

The specialist headed the Russian national team, with which he made it to the main stage of the European Championship in 2004.

Yartsev was also one of the first coaches of the former Spartak football player Alexander Kozlov, who died on July 15 due to a blood clot.

On July 15, Zenit fans at the match of the first round of the RPL of the 2022/23 season with Khimki placed a banner in memory of Yartsev and Kozlov.

Earlier it was reported that farewell to Kozlov will take place on July 18 in the arena of the Spartak Academy.
