Decidedly, Primoz Roglic is unlucky on the Tour de France.
After a painful epilogue in 2020, where he lost the yellow jersey at the end of the Grande Boucle, and an abandonment in 2021, the Slovenian will not finish the 2022 edition either. Injured on the cobblestone stage, the compatriot of Tadej Pogacar, who was among the favorites, decided to leave the Tour de France this Sunday, before the start of the 15th stage between Rodez and Carcassonne, according to

If he had nothing left to play in the general classification (21st more than thirty minutes from the yellow jersey), Primoz Roglic was one of the strong links of the Jumbo-Visma in the mountains.
And it is thanks to him that his teammate, Jonas Vingegaard, was able to take the leader's jersey during the Granon stage on Wednesday.
After attacking Pogacar many times, Roglic (and his team) broke his compatriot on the last climb.
Now, and like last year, Roglic will have to recover before tackling another Grand Tour: the Vuelta, which starts on August 19.
Unlike the Tour de France, which he never won, the Tour of Spain has been his preserve for a few years.
He will aim for a fourth success in a row.
