The shadow of the Champions League final fiasco at the Stade de France hangs over the organization of the Paris-2024 Olympic Games.
The President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, decided to gather around the Prime Minister the actors of these Games on July 25 "to take a detailed look at the progress of their preparation".
The announcement was made Tuesday, July 12 by the Minister of Sports and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, on the occasion of a board of directors of the Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games.
Two years before the event and two months after the chaotic match between Real Madrid and Liverpool in Saint-Denis, the executive will notably review the issues of "security" and "transport", said the Ministry of Sports at AFP.

In addition to the ministers concerned, such as the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, will be present the president of the Organizing Committee, Tony Estanguet, as well as the interministerial delegate for the Olympics, the prefect Michel Cadot, specified the ministry to the AFP.
The Organizing Committee is now entering a capital phase.
In addition to the questions of test sites which are not yet final, it must face two major challenges.
The first is budgetary because the committee is also grappling with the risk of inflation, which will drive up the bill.
The second refers to the security of the event, in particular the open-air opening ceremony on the Seine.
