A couple of days ago, Malmö recruited Moustafa Zeidan from Sirius.

Now the next new acquisition is ready.

Joseph Ceesay, raised in Brommapojkarna and Djurgården, has since January 2021 played for Polish Lechia Gdansk.

There have been 33 matches in the top league with one goal and five plays.

Now he is ready for Malmö FF with a contract of 4.5 years.

- It feels incredibly good to be here.

It is not possible to get to a bigger club in Sweden than Malmö FF, says Ceesay on MFF's website.

- He is an exciting Swedish player who I think has gone under the radar for many so far in his career.

What stands out directly is his speed, but he is skilled both technically and in decision-making, says MFF's sports director Andreas Georgson.

In 2020, Ceesay played for Helsingborg in the Allsvenskan.

Then there were 19 matches and he was noted for an assist.
