It was two teams with completely different emotions that met when the crisis team Helsingborg received the gold-chasing Djurgården on Monday night.

And it was clear that there was a class difference.

Djurgården took over more and more in the first half and would after barely half an hour played get the first goal.

After a bad clearance from Helsingborg, Djurgården was able to break at the center line, turn the game around, and find Victor Edvardsen who got past the back line and found a net.

Red card for Helsingborg

And if it was not difficult enough to be at a disadvantage, Helsingborg would only ten minutes later draw a red card.

In a duel, Wilhelm Loeper would hit a Djurgård player in the head with a high elbow, and had to go and take a shower.

And with one man less, Helsingborg would not be close to threatening Djurgården.

And instead, as it so often does, it would open backwards instead.

Which resulted in 2-0 to Djurgården when Edvardsen in a game reversal found a free Gustav Wikheim who poked the ball at the left post.

Djurgården eventually won the match with just 2-0, and is now one point behind league leader Häcken who, however, has one match less played.

Damage to Helsingborg

Not only was there another loss for Helsingborg, the jumbo would also see Dennis Olsson injured in the second half.

In a seemingly harmless situation, he got enormous pains in one knee and had to be carried out on a stretcher.
