Katia Aveiro (Cristiano Ronaldo's sister) published an encrypted message on her official account in "Instagram" regarding the future of the Manchester United striker.

The 37-year-old had told "Almano" that he wanted to leave this summer, in his quest to play in the Champions League.

Ronaldo did not join the "Red Devils" tour in Thailand and Australia for "family reasons" before the start of the new season.

Man United are now planning the rest of their tour without the Don, who continues training alone in Lisbon.

In addition to United's failure to qualify for major European competitions, the Portugal international is "dismayed" at a 25% salary cut as a result.

And the newspaper "The Sun" (The Sun) revealed exclusively last week that Dutchman Eric Ten Hag does not mind leaving the player - the five-time Ballon d'Or winner - in the summer transfer period.

Chelsea have been closely linked with making a move to secure the player's services after new owner Todd Bohley met Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes to discuss a possible move.

Ronaldo's sister Katya confirmed that her brother - apparently - is about to leave Old Trafford.

Speaking on Instagram, Katya, 44, responded to a question from one of her followers: "Will Cristiano stay in Manchester?"

Her answer was vague and indirect, and she suggested to the questioner, "Wear glasses...or learn to read and follow the news that is being published."

And it is clear that Ronaldo's sister's vague response means that the "Madeira missile" is heading to leave "Old Trafford".

And the same newspaper reported, yesterday, Sunday, that Ronaldo received an additional bonus in the millions just days before he told his Manchester United team of his desire to leave.

Informed sources in Man United revealed that Ronaldo won a large amount - not disclosed, but in millions of euros - as soon as the second year of his contract began at the end of last June.

The surprise bonus was part of the deal he agreed to return to Old Trafford from Juventus last summer.

An insider at Old Trafford said that "all contracts are renewed at the beginning of July, but the news of Ronaldo's desire to leave came immediately after receiving the bonus amount."

A source said, "Ronaldo did nothing wrong, but there are those who suggested that the timing of it all may not be a coincidence, and Ronaldo could have revealed his desire to leave weeks ago."

Ronaldo, who has one year left on his contract with United, scored 24 goals in 38 games in all competitions last season.

But the "Red Devils" team was satisfied with sixth place in the English Premier League table, and failed to win any title for the fifth consecutive season.
