Juventus fans welcomed Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt during his medical examination, and demanded that he stay in Italy.

Media reports indicated that Bayern Munich and Chelsea are seeking to include the 22-year-old Dutch international.

De Ligt signed fans' cards, shirts and balls, took pictures with them, and some fans called out to De Ligt, "Stay with us."

So far, no official statements have been issued from Juventus or Bayern Munich about the possible transfer of De Ligt to Germany.

And media reports in Italy unanimously agreed that Bayern recently increased its offer to include De Ligt to at least 70 million euros, in addition to the player's bonuses.

De Ligt's contract with Juventus, which continues until 2024, includes a clause to leave in return for paying a penalty clause of 120 million euros to the "old lady" club.

Italian sports newspapers reported that Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic will negotiate again with the Juventus presidents tomorrow, Monday, and indicated that this meeting is not the first contact between the two sides.

She added that De Ligt's agent is currently in Turin, not only because of newcomer Paul Pogba;

but also in order to persuade the Italian club to allow the departure of de Ligt.
