Jenny Rissveds thrives in Lenzerheide.
Today she took a narrow victory ahead of the home cyclists Alessandra Keller and Jolanda Keff as it was a short track on the schedule.
The Swedish Olympic gold medalist from 2016 jerked with three laps left and got a gap of just over ten seconds.
Once in the finish line, the margin of victory was only one second large.
- I had no strategy, but I got a gap for a few laps, says Rissveds.
In the overall World Cup, Rissveds climbs to a third place.
She has 775 points and the leading Australian Rebecca McConnell stands at 1125 points.
Rissveds, who has struggled with mental illness, is currently enjoying competing.
- I feel balanced in life overall.
I'm happy and I love cycling.
I have gotten used to competing and started to like it.
I hope I can keep that feeling, she says.
