Formula 1 resumes its rights this weekend with the Austrian Grand Prix on the Red Bull Ring.
The 11th stage of the season will offer a “Sprint” format on this 4.326 km circuit.
One more opportunity to see Max Verstappen and his pursuers in action.
The qualifications will thus be brought forward to Friday.
They will determine the starting order of the sprint race which will take place on Saturday and will last a maximum of 30 minutes.
The results of this race will determine the starting grid for the Grand Prix on Sunday and will allow the first eight to score some points in the classification.
At what time to watch the Grand Prix?
Here are the schedules for the various weekend meetings:
Friday July 8:
1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Free practice
5 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Qualifying
Saturday July 9
12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Free practice
4:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Sprint race
Sunday July 10
3 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Race
On which channel to follow the race?
The Canal + group will broadcast the entire Grand Prix.
The weekend will therefore begin on Friday with a broadcast at 1:10 p.m. for free practice on Canal + Sport.
The broadcast of the qualifications will start at 4:40 p.m. on the same channel.
On Saturday, the broadcast for free practice on Canal + Sport will take place at 12:10 p.m. before the 1st big meeting: the sprint which will start at 4:30 p.m. with a broadcast at 4:10 p.m.
Canal + will take over on Sunday with the program
