The host nation England will face Austria in the first match of the European Championship, Sweden enters on Saturday against the Netherlands.
- Incredibly exciting, very charged and finally, we have been waiting for this for a long time now, so only extremely charged for what is to come, says championship debutant Johanna Rytting Kaneryd to SVT Sport.
Amanda Ilestedt made her European Championship debut in 2013, during Pia Sundhage's time as national team captain.
She will follow the championship premiere match.
- I think it is a bit individual, but for my own part I will follow as much as I can, know many in different teams and for future matches it is good to keep track, she says.

Johanna Rytting Kaneryd will also sit on the bench during the premiere.
- Yes, absolutely, I think we will all do that, she says.
