The sport of biathlon feels good.

The biathlon association currently has two priority issues for children and young people;

to train leaders and to provide the clubs with weapons, Rikard Grip tells SVT Sport.

 - What we do is that we want to make it easier for the associations to provide the equipment for their young people, he says to SVT Sport.

What is missing right now is around 300 air rifles, which are mainly used for riders in their youth.

- We have placed an order and feel safe and we look forward to them benefiting, says Grip.

Rejoice in the growth: "Will carry us forward in the future"

Grip hopes that the investment will bear fruit in a few years.

- We feel very confident in what we do, it is a positive growth and we hope to make wise decisions all the time, hope that investments and investments we make will carry us forward in the future.

Do you know if this is something that needed to be done in other countries as well?

- I have a bit of a hard time answering that, what has been here is that there has been a positive growth for biathlon in Sweden, it has made the demand increase.
