According to the BBC, the transfer fee for Gabriel Jesus will be the equivalent of around SEK 560 million for the 25-year-old from Brazil who celebrated great success with his former club.

Four league titles, three league cup titles, and an FA Cup title were won by City, among others.

In total, Jesus scored 95 goals and 46 assists in his 236 games for the club.

On his Instagram, Jesus thanks his former club:

“Thank you Man City and all the people who made this club my life all these years.

Now is the time to live new dreams. ”

Arsenal's coach is pleased with the signing of the striker.

"This is a position that has been on our radar for a long time now and we have managed to get a player that we all wanted, so I'm really happy," Mikel Arteta told the club's website.

Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips will come to Manchester City instead.

The 26-year-old has signed a six-year contract with the club.

Philips started all European Championship matches for England when they reached the final last year.
